HELPFUL TIPS: -
Buying a vehicle, new or used can be a daunting process for many of us. After all, how can you trust anybody with your hard earned cash?
We have compiled a completely impartial guide which hopefully will go someway to answering any questions you may have.
So what do do first?
- Decide upon your maximum spend. If you have a part exchange, get not just one but a few quotes on it’s value.
- Shop around, surf the net, test drive if need be, a model you have set your eyes on.
- Before you sign anything, insist the supplier gives you every detail of the vehicle condition and history.
- Make sure the vehicle is HPI clear, this means the vehicle is free from any existing finance agreement and has not been involved in any accidents.
- Look into the insurance cost and running costs such as RFL and fuel economy.
Pre-delivery.
- Ensure the vehicle is as described and matches the information on the order form.
- Inspect the vehicle thoroughly and make sure there is no damage before you sign the delivery form.
