Revolution
The purpose built FLYTE EuroCab has all the credentials to meet the demands of the taxi trade. This new generation vehicle offers drivers and propreitors an alternative taxi built with pride and customer requirement at the forefront of design. Standard features include; Long Wheel Base, Dual-Zone Climate Control, Bluetooth® Hands-Free, Velour Trim, Metallic Paint, Reversing Sensors…the list goes on and on. This superb vehicle is badged as the FLYTE for one reason; to serve you at the airport as well as a fully functional wheelchair accessible hackney. It really is the new all-rounder on the rank.
What’s under your right foot?
The FLYTE EuroCab is based on the FIAT Scudo. This ‘donor’ vehicle is built in France at the PSA factory along with it’s sister vehicles, the Peugeot Expert and the Citroen Dispatch. In fact they share nearly every component from the 120BHP, 2.0 HDi engine (badged in this case as a Multi-Jet version) right down to the CD Radio. The only difference you’ll find is the front grill variation and the badges on the front, back and steering wheel.
Type Approval
The FLYTE EuroCab is tested to full M1 European type approval. In a nut-shell this means it is accepted by 95% of the councils within the UK. Many other taxi conversions in todays market don’t meet this standard and are therefore not approved by councils.
