Founded by Gary Hughes, Discovery MPV was born in December 2006. Main objective: to become the number one name in taxi sales. Gary, former London Manager of Cygnus Automotive, spent 10 years in London running Cygnus’ sister company; Cygnus Taximeter Rentals. After briefly leaving the trade Gary took the plunge and set up Discovery, trading successfully selling both new and used vehicles. In 2007 Graham Hutchinson of Chalkwell Park Motors, Southend, Essex joined the business and was immediately appointed as after sales manager. Graham already had over 30 years experience in the trade, running his own fleet of hire cars along with owning his own car sales site and service centre.
Discovery’s success has been down to sheer hard work in all aspects of business. Long hours, dedicated team work and above all; a polite and honest sales policy backed up with a top level of after sales service the trade expects.
